هدفت هذه الدراسة لبناء مقياس القيم المفضّلة في شخصية طلبة الجامعات الأردنية، وتطلب تحقيق ذلك تحديد تلك القيم، لذلك قام الباحثان ببناء مقياس للقيم المفضلة في شخصية الطالب الجامعي الأردني وهي: الوطنيّة، والصدق والأمانة، ودافع الإنجاز، والعلمية، والصبر، وتحمل المسؤولية، والتسامح، حيث بلغ عدد فقرات المقياس 82 فقرة، بواقع 12 فقرة لكل مقياس، ماعدا دافع الإنجاز والعلمية فلكل منهما 11 فقرة، صيغت بطريقة المواقف اللفظية (دائمًا، أحيانًا، نادرًا). وتم تطبيق المقياس على عينة مؤلفة من 400 طالب وطالبة من طلبة الجامعات الأردنية، لتقدير معامل تمييز الفقرات، ومعامل صدقها بثلاثة مؤشرات هي: الصدق العينيّ، وصدق البناء، والصدق التلازمي، حيث تراوحت قيمها بين 0.84- 0.90، أما معامل ثبات المقاييس الفرعية حسبت بطريقتين هما: تحليل التباين الثنائي بدون تفاعل (ANOVA)، ومعادلة هويت، وتراوحت قيمها بين (0.71- 0.77). كما اشتقت معايير الرتب المئينية للمقاييس الفرعية، ويوصي الباحثان باجراء دراسة مماثلة في القطاعات الأخرى من المجتمع الأردني (المرأة، المعلمين). This study aims at constructing a Priority Value Scale in the Personality of Jordanian University Students. To achieve this purpose, it was necessary to determine the values in the personality of the university student. Therefore, the two researchers conducted a pilot study to determine the priority values among Jordanian university student such as patriot, honesty, patience, achievement, being scientific, responsibility and tolerance. Items to be measured were developed, totaling in the final 82 items distributed on the subscales, each containing 12 items, except for achievement and being scientific subscales, where they contained 11 items. Items were presented in the form of verbal situations (Always, sometimes, rarely).The scale wale was administrated to a sample consisting of 400 university students across Jordanian universities students to measure the discrimination ability for each item and calculate the validity coefficient. Reliabilities for the scale ranged between 0.84– 0.90. Using ANOVA and Hewitt equation, reliabilities for the scale ranged between 0.71– 0.77. The validity for each subscale were obtained using construct validity and concurrent validity Related to the previous results, the researchers recommended using the scale for different purposes that are beneficial, especially for Jordanian university students and similar studies in the Jordanian society (women, scientific), and later for all other Arab Countries.
