تهدف الدراسة إلى تعرف العلاقة بين المهارات الاجتماعية والحاجات النفسية لدى طلبة الصف العاشر من ذوي صعوبات التعلم والعاديين، وذلك لدى 71 من ذوي صعوبات التعلم (39 ذكور و32 إناث) ومثلهم من الطلبة العاديين، حيث بلغ مجموع العينة النهائية للدراسة 142 من طلبة الصف العاشر بمنطقتي الجهراء والعاصمة التعليميتين، وقد طبق في الدراسة الأدوات التالية: 1) اختبار الذكاء غير اللغوي. 2) مقياس الخصائص السلوكية. 3) مقياس المهارات الاجتماعية. 4) مقياس الحاجات النفسية. وقد أسفرت نتائج الدراسة عما يلي: 1) هناك فروق دالة إحصائيا عند مستوى 0.001 في المهارات الاجتماعية بين ذوي صعوبات التعلم والعاديين وذلك لصالح الطلبة العاديين. 2) هناك فروق دالة إحصائيا عند مستوى 0.001 بين ذوي صعوبات التعلم والعاديين في الحاجات النفسية وذلك لصالح الطلبة ذوي صعوبات التعلم. 3) وجود علاقة ارتباطية دالة إحصائيا بين المهارات الاجتماعية والحاجات النفسية لدى طلبة الصف العاشر سواء من ذوي صعوبات التعلم أو العاديين. This study aimed to identify the relationship between social skills and psychological needs of tenth grade students from two schools (aljahra- alaasemah) .The first group consists of normal students. The second group consists of students with learning disabilities (LD). The total study sample consists of 142 students, in which normal students were 71 and students with LD were also 71. The sample gender of normal and LD students were (39 males – 32 females). The following instruments were used: 1) The Non-verbal intelligence test. 2) Measure of behavioural characteristics. 3) Measure of social skills. 4) Measure of psychological needs. The following results were revealed: 1) There are significant differences P>0.01 of social skills between the normal and learning disabled students in favour of the normal students. 2) There are significant differences P>0.01 of psychological needs between the normal and learning disabled students in favor of the normal students. 3) There are significant relationships between social skills and psychological needs, whether they are normal or learning disabled students.
