هدفت الدراسة إلى الوقوف على مستوى كل من الكفاءة الذاتية المدركة ومهارات حل المشكلات لدى عينة من طلبة جامعة القدس واختلاف كل منهما بحسب متغيرات الجنس، ونوع الثانوية العامة، والكلية، إضافة إلى تقصي العلاقة بينهما. واتبعت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي الارتباطي، حيث طبقت أدوات الدراسة على عينة ضمت 700 من الطلبة المسجلين في الفصل الدراسي الثاني من العام الأكاديمي 2013/2014، اختيروا بطريقة المعاينة الطبقية العشوائية. توصلت الدراسة إلى أن درجة الكفاءة الذاتية المدركة لدى طلبة جامعة القدس مرتفعة، وجاءت درجة امتلاكهم لمهارات حل المشكلات بدرجة مرتفعة أيضا، كما أشارت النتائج إلى وجود علاقة طردية موجبة بين الكفاءة الذاتية المدركة، وبين مهارات حل المشكلات. وأظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا في كل من الكفاءة الذاتية المدركة ومهارات حل المشكلات لدى طلبة جامعة القدس تعزى لمتغير الجنس، بينما كانت الفروق دالة إحصائيا في الكفاءة الذاتية المدركة باختلاف الكلية لصالح طلبة الكليات الإنسانية، واختلاف نوع الثانوية العامة لصالح طلبة الفرع العلمي. وبينت النتائج وجود فروق دالة في مهارات حل المشكلات تعزى لمتغير الكلية لصالح طلبة الكليات الإنسانية، وكذلك لنوع الثانوية العامة لصالح طلبة الفرع العلمي. The study aimed to identify the level of perceived self-efficacy and problem-solving skills among a sample from Alquds University students, and the differences in each according to sex, type of high school, and college, in additional to investigate the relationship between them. The study used the descriptive correlative method applied on 700 students from Al-Quds University using the stratified random sample method, in the second semester of the academic year 2013/2014. The study found that the degree of perceived self-efficacy among the students of Al-Quds University was high, and so for the problem solving skills. Also, it became clear that there is a positive correlation between the perceived self-efficacy and problem solving skills. The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences in either the perceived self-efficacy or problem solving skills among the students of Al-Quds University attributed to their sex. Meanwhile, the differences in the perceived self-efficacy were significant attributed to the college, in favor to humanities faculties, and in type of secondary school, in favor to students of the scientific section. Finally, the differences were significant in solving problems skills attributed to the college, in favor to humanities faculties, and in type of secondary school, in favor to students of the scientific section.
