هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تعرّف الصعوبات التي تعيق استخدام شبكة (الإنترنت) لدى طلبة جامعة القدس المفتوحة، ومعرفة تأثير متغيرات: الجنس، والاختصاص العلمي، وامتلاك جهاز الحاسوب، توافر خدمة الانترنت للطالب، ومستوى تعليم الأب والأم في تلك الصعوبات، وقد استخدم لذلك الغرض عينة بلغ حجمها 400 طالب وطالبة منهم 200 طالب و 200طالبة، موزعون إلى برامج تعليمية مختلفة، وقد أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن أهم الصعوبات التي تعيق استخدام الإنترنت لدى الطلاب هي: عدم معرفة الطالب بوجود خدمة الإنترنت، وعدم معرفته بالهدف من استخدام تلك الخدمة، وقناعته بأن مساوئ تلك الخدمة أكثر من حسناتها. كما كشفت النتائج: عن عدم وجود فروق جوهرية بين الجنسين في الصعوبات التي تعيق استخدام الانترنت، بينما أظهرت النتائج وجود فروق جوهرية في تلك الصعوبات تعزى إلى متغيرات توافر جهاز الحاسوب وتوافر خدمة الانترنت لدى الطالب، ومستوى تعليم الأب والأم وذلك لصالح الطلاب الذين لا تتوافر لديهم أجهزة الحاسوب، وخدمة الإنترنت، والطلاب أبناء الآباء والأمهات ذوي مستويات التعليم المتدني. The study aims to introduce at the difficulties in wich delay the using of the internet, and the effectes of variables: Gender, study specialization, possession of computer, availability of the internet service, and the study level of parents on these difficulties, among 200 males and 200 females from Al-Quds Open University students from various specialzations. Results showed that the most important difficulties in wich delay using of internet were: Lack of knowledge of internet availability, lack of knowledge of the aim of using this service, and the students satisfaction that the disadvantages is more than the advantages of using the internet service. In other side, the results showed that there were no statistical significant differences in difficulties delay of using the internet among students due to gender variable, but there were statistical significant differences due to variables: possession of computer, availability of the internet service, and the study level of parents on these difficulties, in favor of students were no possession of computer and internet service, and students from less study level parents.
