تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف إلى تجربة التعليم المفتوح والتعلم عن بعد في الجمهورية العربية السورية التي بدأ تنفيذها عام 2001/2002. وتحقيقا للهدف العام من الدراسة، فقد أجريت دراسة ميدانية على بعض برامج التعليم المفتوح في جامعة حلب باعتبارها نموذجا للتعليم المفتوح في سورية، وذلك باستخدام أسلوب الاستبانة، حيث وزعت 775 استبانة على طلاب برامج الدراسات القانونية، والحاسوب ونظم المعلومات، وإدارة المشاريع الصغيرة والمتوسطة، وبرنامج الترجمة في اللغة الفرنسية في التعليم المفتوح بجامعة حلب، وكان العائد الصالح منها للتحليل 716 استبانة، وبنسبة 92.39% من عدد الاستبانات الموزعة. ثم اختبرت البيانات، باستخدام مجموعة من الأساليب الإحصائية التي تلائم طبيعة البيانات، وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من النتائج أهمها: 1) لا يسهم النظام الداخلي للتعليم المفتوح في جامعة حلب في نجاحه. 2) لا يسهم النظام التعليمي للتعليم المفتوح في جامعة حلب في نجاحه. 3) تقييم الطلاب لاختصاصهم المدروس في جامعة حلب هو تقييم سلبي. كما قامت هذه الدراسة بطرح مجموعة من المقترحات الهادفة إلى تطوير التعليم المفتوح في جامعة حلب. This study aimed to identify the experience of open education and distance learning. in Syria which was started in 2001 - 2002. To achieve the overall objective of this study, a field study has been conducted on some programs of open education at the University of Aleppo, by using the questionnaire method. 775 questionnaires were distributed to students of various programs: Legal Studies - Computers and Information Systems - Management of Small and Medium Projects & French Translation in the open education at the University of Aleppo. (716) questionnaire were valid for analysis, a percentage 92.39% of the total distributed questionnaires. The data were analyzed by using a set of suitable statistical methods that suit the nature of the data. The study found a set of results including: 1) The internal system of open education that is applied at the University of Aleppo, does not contribute to its success. 2) The educational system of open education that is applied at the University of Aleppo, does not contribute to its success. 3) The assessment of the students’ competence in open education at the University of Aleppo is negative. Furthor more the study, has given some suggestions that aim at the development of open education at the University of Aleppo. (Published Abstract)
