هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على درجة تطبيق المجالس الأكاديمية لمهامها في جامعة اليرموك وعلاقتها بتحقيق الجامعة لوظائفها من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس فيها. واعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي وتكونت عينة الدراسة من 505 عضو هيئة تدريس. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أن درجة تطبيق المجالس الأكاديمية لمهامها في جامعة اليرموك من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس جاءت بدرجة متوسطة، وجاءت درجة تحقيق جامعة اليرموك لوظائفها من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس فيها بدرجة متوسطة، وأن هناك علاقة ارتباطيه طردية (إيجابية) بين درجة تطبيق المجالس الأكاديمية لمهامها وتحقيق جامعة اليرموك لوظائفها من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس. وأوصت الدراسة بضرورة العمل على تقديم الاقتراحات حول خطط الأنشطة الطلابية الواجب ممارستها في الجامعة من قبل المجالس الأكاديمية فيها. This study aimed to identify the application degree of the academic council’s tasks at Yarmouk University and its relationship to the achievement of university functions from the perspective of the teaching staff. The study relied on a descriptive approach and study sample consisted of 505 faculty members. The study found that the degree of application of the academic councils tasks at Yarmouk University from the standpoint of the faculty members came moderately, the degree of achievement of Yarmouk University functions from the perspective of faculty members came with a fair degree, and that there is positive correlation between the degree of application of the academic councils of their tasks and the achievement Yarmouk University functions from the perspective of faculty members. The study recommended the need to make suggestions about the student’s activities plans that should be practiced by the academic councils at the university. (Published Abstract)
