هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على دور البحث التربوي في تطوير تمويل التعليم الجامعي المصري، وذلك من خلال رصد أهداف البحث التربوي ووظائفه، والتعرف على أهم المشكلات التي تواجه تمويل التعليم الجامعي في مصر، ودور الدراسات والبحوث التربوية في اقتراح مسارات وبدائل جديدة لتمويل التعليم الجامعي، وقد استخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي، وتوصلت إلى عديد من النتائج، أهمها: وجود عدة مشكلات تواجه تمويل التعليم الجامعي في مصر منها: عجز الموارد الحكومية، ومحدودية التمويل الذاتي والتمويل الخارجي، وضعف كفاءة الإنفاق العام على التعليم الجامعي، وتحمل البحث التربوي عبء اقتراح تدابير جديدة يكون من شأنها توفير مصادر غير تقليدية لتمويل التعليم الجامعي، وتأتي الجامعة المنتجة كإحدي الصيغ التي تطرحها الأبحاث التربوية كمورد بديل لتمويل التعليم الجامعي في مصر، وكذلك المشاركة المجتمعية من خلال الوقف الخيري والهبات والتبرعات، فضلا عن الأنظمة التمويلية الحديثة التي يمكن الأخذ بها كمصادر بديلة لتمويل التعليم الجامعي المصري مثل: نظام السندات التعليمية، والتأمين التعاوني التعليمي، والكراسي الجامعية، وتأكيد الدراسات التربوية علي ضرورة ترشيد الإنفاق على التعليم الجامعي من خلال التخلص من النفقات غير الضرورية، والإستخدام الأمثل للموارد المتاحة، وتقليل صور الهدر. The study aimed at identifying the role of educational research in developing funding Egyptian university education, by recognizing educational research objectives and functions, identifying the most important problems facing funding Egyptian university education, and the role of educational studies in proposing new paths and alternatives to finance university education. The study used the descriptive approach, and reached many results. The most important results are: The existence of several problems facing funding the university education in Egypt, including: the deficit of government resources, the limited self-financing and external financing, and the weak efficiency of public spending on university education. The educational research has to propose new methods that would provide non-traditional sources of funding university education. The productive university comes as one of these sources, as well as community participation through charitable endowments, grants and donations. There are also modern financial systems, which can be taken as alternative sources for financing Egyptian university education, such as: the educational bond system, cooperative educational insurance, and university chairs. The educational studies emphasize the need to rationalize spending on university education by eliminating unnecessary expenditures, optimal use of available resources, and reducing waste.
