يشهد العالم اليوم ثورة معلوماتية وتطورات تكنولوجية هائلة، لها العديد من الإيجابيات كالتقارب الفكري والثقافي وتبادل الخبرات والمعارف، وأيضاً لها تأثير سلبي على الهوية الوطنية بفعل العديد من التحديات التي تؤثر سلباً على الانتماء والولاء الوطني. مما يتطلب من المؤسسات التربوية بدايتاً من الأسرة والمدرسة ودور العبادة ووسائل الإعلام ضرورة التدخل السريع للتعامل مع مثل هذه التحديات ومواجهتها عن طريق غرس مقومات الهوية الوطنية في الأبناء منذ الصغر، لينشئ أطفالنا وشبابنا على حب الوطن والولاء له. ومن ثم؛ سعت هذه الدراسة إلى إبراز دور مدارس الأحد كتنظيم كنسي تربوي خدمي مجتمعي في دعم الهوية الوطنية. من خلال عرض وتحليل أهم مقومات الهوية الوطنية: الديمقراطية والعدالة الاجتماعية وتكافؤ الفرص للجميع، المسئولية الاجتماعية، الاهتمام باللغة العربية والتاريخ الوطني، المشاركة السياسية الفاعلة، غرس قيم التعاون والعمل التطوعي، التربية على التعددية الثقافية ومكافحة العنصرية والتمييز، الاستراتيجيات الخطابية، التربية البيئية، التعليم من أجل المواطنة، التربية الوطنية، والتعاون والشراكة بين المؤسسات التربوية. وعرض أهم الجهود التربوية والوطنية لمدارس الأحد في إنجلترا وأمريكا وأفريقيا ومصر. وتحقيقاً لأهداف الدراسة اعتمدت الباحثة في معالجتها لهذه القضية على المنهج الوصفي. وقد انتهت هذه الدراسة إلى العديد من النتائج ومن أهمها: تنتشر حركة مدارس الأحد عبر العالم لمختلف المراحل العمرية وتقدم العديد من الأنشطة والممارسات التي تدعم مقومات الهوية الوطنية، كما ساهمت في علاج بعض المشكلات المجتمعية كالجهل والبطالة والعنف والمرض. The world is witnessing today an information revolution and tremendous technological developments. Which have many positives such as intellectual and cultural rapprochement and the exchange of experiences and knowledge, and have a negative impact on national identity because of many challenges that negatively affect national belong and loyalty, which requires educational institutions to start from the family, school, Places of worship and the media. Must intervene quickly to deal with such challenges and confront them by instilling the elements of national identity in children from a young age. So that our children and youth can grow up with love and loyalty to the homeland. Hence؛ this study seeks to highlight the role of Sunday schools as an Ecclesiastical, Educational, Service, and Community organization in support of national identity. By presenting and analysis the most important components of national identity. Democracy, Social justice, Equal opportunities for all, Social responsibility, Interest in Arabic language and National history, Active political participation, Instilling Values of cooperation and volunteerism, Education on cultural pluralism and combating racism and discrimination, rhetorical strategies, environmental education, education for citizenship, civic education, and cooperation and partnership between educational institutions. He presented the most important educational and national efforts of Sunday Schools in England, America, Africa and Egypt. In order to achieve the objectives of the study. The researcher relied in dealing with this issue on the descriptive method, and this study concluded with many results, the most important of which are The Sunday School movement spreads across the world for different age stages and offers many activities and practices that support the ingredients of national identity, and it also؛ contributed to the solving some societal problems.
