هدف البحث إعداد برنامج مقترح في التاريخ الاجتماعي قائم على أدب الرحلات لتنمية مهارات تحليل النصوص التاريخية لدى طلاب شعبة التاريخ بكلية التربية، حيث قام الباحث بإعداد قائمة بمهارات تحليل النصوص التاريخية، وإعداد برنامج مقترح في التاريخ الاجتماعي قائم على أدب الرحلات، وكتيب للأنشطة، ودليل للمعلم الجامعي، كما تم إعداد اختبار مهارات تحليل النصوص التاريخية وتطبيقه قبليا على عينة البحث والتي تكونت من مجموعتين إحداهما ضابطة (34) طالبا والأخرى تجريبية (34) طالبا من طلاب الفرقة الثالثة شعبة التاريخ بكلية التربية جامعة دمياط، كما تم تطبيق البرنامج المقترح على طلاب المجموعة التجريبية في الفصل الدراسي الثاني 2020-2021م وإعادة تطبيق الاختبار بعديا على المجموعتين الضابطة والتجريبية، وقد أظهرت النتائج وجود فروق بين متوسطي درجات الطلاب في التطبيقين القبلي والبعدي بالمجموعة التجريبية لصالح التطبيق البعدي، حيث بلغت قيمة (ت) (25.82) وهي دالة إحصائيا عند مستوى (0.01) ووجود فروق بين متوسطي درجات الطلاب في المجموعتين الضابطة والتجريبية في التطبيق البعدي لصالح المجموعة التجريبية، حيث بلغت قيمة (ت) (23.72) وهي دالة إحصائيا عند مستوى (0.01) كما أسفرت النتائج عن فاعلية البرنامج المقترح في تنمية مهارات تحليل النصوص التاريخية لدى طلاب عينة البحث حيث بلغت قيمة حجم التأثير (0.94) وقيمة (d) المقابلة لها (8.04) وذلك يُشير إلى حجم تأثير كبير للبرنامج المقترح، وقد أوصى البحث بضرورة استخدام نصوص أدب الرحلات في تدريس التاريخ الاجتماعي لتنمية مهارات تحليل النصوص التاريخية لدى طلاب شعبة التاريخ بكلية التربية. The research aimed to prepare a proposed program in social history based on travel literature to develop Historical text analysis skillsamong students of the History Division in the Faculty of Education. The researcher prepared a list of Historical text analysis skills, a proposed program in social history based on travel literature, a booklet of activities, and guide for the university teacher. A student from the third-year students, History Division, Faculty of Education, Damietta University, and the proposed program was applied to the students of the experimental group in the second semester 2020-2021 and the test was re-applied on the control and experimental groups. Experimental in favor of the post application, where the value of (T) was (25.82), which is statistically significant at the level (0.01), and there are differences between the mean scores of students in the control and experimental groups in the post application in favor of the experimental group, where the value of (T) was (23.72) which is statistically significant at the level of ( 0.01) The results also revealed the effectiveness of the proposed program in developing the skills of analyzing historical texts among the students of the research sample, where the effect size value was (0.94) and the values ​​of (d) corresponding to it (8.04), which indicates a large impact of the proposed program. The research recommended the necessity of using travel literature texts in teaching social history to develop the skills of analyzing historical texts among students of the History Division in the Faculty of Education.
