The aim of the research is to know the relationship of prior knowledge of students of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences in the subject of teaching methods and its impact on their attitudes towards the teaching profession, by conducting an achievement test for a group of students of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences. The researcher used a measure of students’ attitudes towards the teaching profession and the research proved: There is a relationship between prior knowledge and the trend towards the teaching profession, and a number of conclusions and recommendations were reached that fit the research results.
