المشكلة: تدني مستوى بعض تلاميذ الصف الثالث الإعدادي في بعض مهارات التفكير المتشعب ولاتجاه نحو الإبداع لديهم في تعليم الدراسات الاجتماعية؛ الأمر الذي دعا الباحثة إلى التعرف على فاعلية نظرية الذكاء الناجح في تدريس الدراسات الاجتماعية لتنمية بعض مهارات التفكير المتشعب والاتجاه نحو الإبداع لدى تلاميذ المرحلة الإعدادية. الإجراءات: تحددت إجراءات البحث في جانبين أحدهما نظري والأخر تجريبي، تناول الجانب النظري كل من: (أ) نظرية التعلم الذكاء الناجح (ب) التفكير المتشعب (ج) الاتجاه نحو الإبداع، وتحدد الجانب التجريبي في (1) إعداد قائمة بمهارات التفكير المتشعب (2) إعداد البرنامج القائم على نظرية "الذكاء الناجح" (4) إعداد أداتي القياس وتضمنتا: (اختبار مهارات التفكير المتشعب- مقياس الاتجاه نحو الإبداع)، (5) الدراسة التجريبية وتضمنت: اختيار مجموعة البحث وعددها (30) من تلاميذ الصف الثالث الإعدادي، تطبيق أداتي القياس قبليا، تدريس البرنامج، تطبيق أداتي القياس بعديا. النتائج: توصل البحث إلى وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى (0.01) بين متوسطات درجات مجموعة البحث في اختبار مهارات التفكير المتشعب - مقياس الاتجاه نحو الإبداع) في التطبيقين "القبلي - البعدي" وذلك لصالح التطبيق البعدي. Statement of the problem: the problem of the study could be stated as thus "some preparatory stage pupils are characterized with their low level of divergent thinking skills, and attitudes towards creativity" so, the present study investigated the effectiveness of a program based on successful intelligence theory in teaching social studies on developing some divergent thinking skills and attitudes towards creativity of preparatory stage pupils. Procedures: first, the theoretical part that included (successful intelligence theory - divergent thinking - attitudes towards creativity). Second, the experimental part that included: 1) Preparing the divergent thinking skills' list. 2) Preparing the program based on successful intelligence theory. 3) Preparing the measurement instruments which are the tests of divergent thinking skills and scale of attitudes towards creativity. 5) The experimental study that included (choosing 30 thired grade preparatory stage pupils who represented the study group, pre-testing the measurement instruments, teaching the program and finally post-testing the measurement instruments). The results also revealed significant statistically differences at the level of ( 0,01) between the mean scores of the study group on both pre/post test divergent thinking skills and scale of attitudes towards creativity in favor of the post-test.
