تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على محتوى منهاج العلوم الاجتماعية وتسليط الضوء على محتوى وطرائق التدريس وعمليات التقويم ومدى تحقيقها لمتطلبات التعلم تبعا لنظرية بياجى قصد الوقوف على أسباب صعوبات التعلم وصممت لأجل ذلك استمارة بحث مكونة من 38 سؤالا وتكونت عينة البحث من (75) أستاذا من التعليم الثانوي بولاية وهران. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى: أن المحتوى لم يطرح وفق مطالب النمو المناسبة لهذه المرحلة، ما من ناحية تنمية مطالب النمو الاجتماعي فتناسب مع الحاجات النفسية أما من ناحية طرائق التدريس وعمليات التقويم فهي لا تتلاءم مع مستوى التلاميذ في جانب التجريد والتصنيف ومعيار احترام الفروق الفردية والذي لم يتحقق تقريبا في جميع عناصر المنهاج. This study aims to clarify the Social Sciences curriculum by examining the differences between content, methods of teaching and into which extent they meet with the requirement of learning process according to Piaget theory. In order to conduct this study, a questionnaire of thirty-eight (38) questions was distributed among seventy-five (75) high school in Oran city, The results showed that social-sciences was not in harmony with the pupil's mental development. In addition, it did not develop the social values, since social sciences and evaluating are not in the same foot with the pupil level. (Published abstract)
