يستهدف البحث الحالي استخدام النظرية التقليدية في إعداد اختبار الاستعداد الميكانيكي لدى طلبة المرحلة الاعدادية. ولتحقيق هذا الهدف، اتبع الباحث الخطوات العلمية بدءا بترجمة فقرات الاختبار والتعليمات من اللغة الانكليزية إلى اللغة العربية، مع مراعاة الدقة والشمولية لجميع الأفكار الموجودة في الاختبار، ثم عرضت تعليمات وفقرات الاختبار المتكون من (120) فقرة تحتوي كل منها على أربعة بدائل، على خبير في اللغة الإنكليزية للتأكد من صدق الترجمة. بعد ذلك عرض تعليمات الاختبار وفقراته على خبير متخصص في اللغة العربية للتأكد من السلامة اللغوية للاختبار، وبعد الأخذ بملاحظاته. عرضت على الخبراء في العلوم التربوية والنفسية، للتأكد من توافر الخصائص المناسبة لها ولبدائلها من حيث الشكل والمضمون، وقد عُدًت جميع فقرات الاختبار صالحة منطقيا لقياس ما وضعت من أجل قياسه وقد طُبَّق الاختبار على عينة مكونة من (600) طالبا وطالبة من جميع الصفوف طلبة المرحلة الاعدادية. وفي ختام البحث وضع البحث بعض التوصيات منها، الاستفادة من هذا الاختبار من أجل تطوير القدرات لدى طلبة المراحل الدراسية المختلفة. The current research aims at using the traditional theory in preparing the mechanical readiness test for middle school students. To achieve this goal, the researcher followed the scientific steps starting with the translation of the test paragraphs and instructions from English to Arabic, taking into account the accuracy and comprehensiveness of all the ideas in the test, and then presented the instructions and test paragraphs consisting of (120) paragraphs, each containing four alternatives, In English to verify the veracity of translation. He then presented the test instructions and paragraphs to an expert in Arabic to ascertain the linguistic integrity of the test and after taking his observations. The test subjects were considered logical to measure what was set for measurement. The test was applied to a sample of (600) male and female students from all grades of the students in the stage Junior high. At the end of the research, the research put some recommendations, including the use of this test in order to develop the abilities of students in different stages of study. (Published abstract)
