هدفت الدراسة إلى التعّرف على دور اليقظة الاستراتيجية كأسلوب فعّال في إدارة الأزمات في المؤسسات التعليمية. ولتحقيق ذلك، تمّ تطبيق أداة الدراسة على عينة مكونة من 95 موظف/ة العاملين في الإدارة العامة للتعليم بجدة، حيث اتبعت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي. ولتحقيق أهدافها، قامت الباحثة بإعداد استبانة تضمنت 3 محاور. وأشارت النتائج أن التغيرات الاقتصادية وشبكة الأنترنت ثم التغيرات التكنولوجية هي أولى مصادر المعلومات التي تعتمدها الإدارة العامة للتعليم، في حين جاء مصدر المنافسين الحاليين أو المرتقبين في المرتبة الأخيرة. كما أن مستوى ممارسة اليقظة الاستراتيجية بالإدارة العامة للتعليم جاء بدرجة متوسطة، حيث جاءت في المرتبة الأولى اليقظة البيئية، تلتها اليقظة التكنولوجية ثم اليقظة التجارية. بينما جاءت اليقظة التنافسية في المرتبة الأخيرة. وأخيراً، اشارت النتائج إلى أن مستوى فعالية مراحل اليقظة الاستراتيجية في إدارة الأزمات بالإدارة العامة للتعليم بجدة وفق استجابات أفراد العينة جاء بدرجة مرتفع، مما يؤكد أن هناك علاقة وثيقة بين اليقظة الإستراتيجية والأزمات التعليمية حسب استجابات أفراد العينة، حيث أكّدوا على أن اليقظة الاستراتي جية أسلوب فعّال لإدارة الازمات؛، حيث أنها تعمل على التنبؤ بالأزمات التربوية قبل وقوعها والعمل على تفاديها وذلك من خلال تبني فريق عمل داخل وخارج مؤسستها لترصد لمثل هذه الازمات. وأوصَت الباحثة بضرورة تكثيف الاهتمام من قبل المؤسسات التعليمية باليقظة الإستراتيجية وتكوين فريق عمل خاص بها؛ وتوجيه جهودها للوقوف على التشخيص الجيد للازمات التعليمية ومعالجة الأسباب التي تؤدي إلى حدوثها، لقدرتها على التنبؤ المُبكر وإنشاء أنظمة رصد للازمات التعليمية قبل وقوعها. The study aimed to identify the role of strategic vigilance as an effective method in crisis management in educational institutions, to achieve this; The study tool was applied to 95 employees working in the General Administration of Education in Jeddah, which is a questionnaire prepared by the researcher. The study followed the descriptive approach. The results indicated that the economic changes, the Internet, and then the technological changes are the first sources of information adopted by the General Administration of Education. While competitors ranked last in these sources. The level of practicing strategic vigilance in the General Administration of Education came to a medium degree, and in the first place was the environmental vigilance, followed by the technological vigilance and then the commercial vigilance. While competitive vigilance came last. Finally, the results indicated that the level of effectiveness of the stages of strategic vigilance in crisis management in the General Administration of Education in Jeddah according to the responses of the sample members was high, which confirms that there is a relationship between strategic vigilance and educational crises, according to the responses of the sample members, as they emphasized that strategic vigilance is an effective method for crisis management; As it works to predict educational crises before they occur and work to avoid them by adopting a working team inside and outside its institution to monitor such crises. The researcher recommended intensifying the interest of educational institutions in strategic vigilance and the formation of a working group for it. And directing its efforts to find out a good diagnosis of educational crises and the reasons that lead to their occurrence, because of its ability to predict early and establish monitoring systems for educational crises before they occur.
