هدفت هذه الدراسة لإجراء ما وراء التحليل لنتائج الرسائل الجامعية التي تناولت فاعلية منحى التعلم البنائي الاجتماعي في تنمية المهارات اللغوية في الأردن خلال الفترة من 2010-2017. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة استخدمت الباحثة منهج ما وراء التحليل، في ضوء المتغيرات التالية: فترة تطبيق المتغير التجريبي، وحجم العينة. وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (23) رسالة وأطروحة جامعية، واستخدمت نموذج ترميزي لجمع البيانات. وتبين من نتائج الدراسة أن حجوم الأثر لم تكن متجانسة، إذ بلغت قيمة اختبار التجانس (388.85) بدرجة حرية مقدارها (38). وأظهرت النتائج أن متوسط حجم الأثر الكلي لنموذج التأثيرات العشوائية قد بلغ (1.63) بعدد حجوم أثر مقداره (39)، وبخطأ معياري مقداره (0.31). وتعد هذه القيمة مرتفعة في ضوء تصنيف كوهين لحجم الأثر، ما يدل على فاعلية المنحى البنائي الاجتماعي في تنمية المهارات اللغوية. وأظهرت الدراسة فروقاً ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات حجوم الأثر في متغير فترة تطبيق المتغير التجريبي ومتغير حجم العينة، ولصالح 9 - 12 أسبوعاً، وأقل من 41 فرداً على التوالي. وفي ضوء النتائج قدمت الدراسة عدد من التوصيات ذات الصلة. The goal of this study was to conduct a meta-analysis of the results of university theses and dissertations which dealt with effectiveness of the social constructivist based approach of teaching in the Jordanian Universities during (2010- 2017) on language skills, The variables used in this study are: The period of applying the tool and the size of the sample. In order to achieve the goals, the researcher used the Meta-analysis and Coding Model for Data. The sample study consisted of 23 theses and dissertations. The results showed that effect sizes were not homogeneous. The value of the Homogeneity test (Q-values) reached was 388.85 with 39 degree of freedom. The results also showed that the average of the overall effect size reached for the random effect model was 1.63 with a standard error of 0.31. Furthermore, statistically significant differences can be seen in the mean of the effect sizes with respect to the period of application of the study tool variable and the sample size variable, for the period of application of 912- weeks and a group of less than 41 individuals, respectively. Considering these results, the study presented a set of related recommendations. (Published abstract)
