This study aimed to examine the relationship between the feeling of loss and self-control among a sample of blind adolescents, and to reveal the differences between males and females in both feelings of loss and self-control. The study sample consisted of 100 students from Al-Noor schools for the blind in Cairo, whose ages ranged between (13- 15) years old with an average age of 13.90 and a standard deviation of 0.718. Intelligence scales for the blind were applied by Farouk Moussa (2015), the socio- cultural economic level scale prepared by Muhammad Saafan and Duaa Khattab (2016), a preliminary data form and a scale of feeling lost and self- control for the blind prepared by Hanan Hassanein (2020), the researcher used statistical methods appropriate to the nature of the data and consistent with the objectives of the study and verifying its hypotheses, namely the Cronbach alpha coefficient to calculate the stability of the measures of feeling of loss and self- control, and the Pearson correlation coefficient to calculate the half-segmentation stability of the two scales of feeling of loss and self-control, and the spearman-brown equation to correct the length of the scale in the computation of the half segmentation stability coefficient for the two scales of feeling loss and self-control, and the parametric (T) test for the significance of the differences between independent groups to calculate the validity of the a distinction is made between independent groups of the two measures of feeling lost and self- control, and the results of the study indicated a statistically significant negative association between feeling lost and self- control, and the results also resulted in differences between males and females in feeling lost in the direction of males and differences between males and females in self-control in the direction of females, and the study proved that the higher the self-control of blind adolescents, the less they felt lost.
