إن اختبارات الذكاء والقدرات العقلية كانت من أبرز الاختبارات الاستدلالية، وأنها من أدوات التقويم والقياس الجيدة والواسعة الانتشار والاستخدام ويمكننا القول أنه ليس هناك أي نمط من الاختبارات أكثر معرفة وانتشاراً مما نجده في اختبارات الذكاء والقدرات العقلية، وأن نتائجها تلعب دوراً رئيساً ومهماً في كثير من الميادين، فيرى "برودي" Brody أن اختبارات الذكاء والقدرات العقلية ذات أهمية كبيرة تحتم دراستها ومناقشتها، لكونها تشكل إسهاماً موضوعياً وتطبيقاً في علم النفس ولأنها مصممة لحل مشاكل عملية، ولاستخدامها الواسع في مجالات تطبيقية، وقد هدفت الدراسة الحالية الى التعرف على مستوى القدرة الاستدلالية لدى طلبة المرحلة الإعدادية، وقام الباحث ببناء اختبار القدرة الاستدلالية والذي تكون بصيغته النهائية من (40) فقرة، بعد أن تم أستخراج صدق وتمييز الفقرات، وتم استخراج صدق وثبات الاختبار باستخدام الوسائل الإحصائية المناسبة، وبعد أن طبق الاختبار على عينة التحليل الإحصائي البالغة (400) طالب وطالبة، وكذلك طبق الباحث المقياس على عينة التطبيق النهائي البالغة (200) طالب وطالبة والتي اختيرت بالأسلوب العشوائي. وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى أن اختبار القدرة الاستدلالية يتمتع بخصائص سيكومترية جيدة، ووجود مستوى عالي من القدرة الاستدلالية لدى عينة البحث، ووجود أثر للجنس في القدرة ولصالح عينة الذكور، ووجود فروق دالة إحصائياً بين عينة الفرعين العلمي والادبي ولصالح الفرع العلمي، وقد أوصت الدراسة امكانية استخدام الاختبار من قبل المرشدين التربويين في تشخيص الطلبة الذين لديهم قدرة استدلالية عقلية بالمدارس الإعدادية، واقترحت الدراسة إجراء دراسة مماثلة على طلبة المرحلة المتوسطة ومقارنة نتائجها مع نتائج الدراسة الحالية. The tests of intelligence and mental abilities were one of the most prominent tests of inference, and they are tools of evaluation and measurement of good and widespread and use and we can say that there is no pattern of tests more knowledge and prevalence than we find in the tests of intelligence and mental abilities, and that the results play a major and important role in many fields Brody believes that tests of intelligence and mental abilities are of great importance that need to be studied and discussed, because they constitute an objective contribution and application in psychology and because they are designed to solve practical problems, and its wide use in applied fields, the study aimed The researcher built the test of the inference ability, which in its final form consists of (40) paragraphs, after extracting the sincerity and distinguishing the paragraphs, and extracting the validity and reliability of the test using the appropriate statistical means. Test on the statistical analysis sample of (400) students, as well as the researcher applied the scale to the final application sample of (200) students, which was chosen by random method. The study concluded that the deductive ability test has good psychometric properties and high level. The inferential ability of the research sample, and the presence of the impact of sex in the ability and in favor of the male sample, and the presence of statistically significant differences between the sample of the scientific and literary branches and for the benefit of the scientific branch.
