استهدف البحث الحالي التعرف إلى عادات العقل المنتجة لدى طلبة المدارس الثانوية المتميزين: 1) القدرة على تنظيم الذات. 2) القدرة على التفكير الناقد. 3) القدرة على التفكير الإبداعي. إقتصرت حدود البحث على طلبة المدارس الثانوية المتميزين في محافظة بغداد، للعام الدراسي 2017-2018. تألفت عينة البحث من (400) طالباً وطالبةً، بواقع (230) طالبةً، بنسبة (57%)، و(170) طالباً، بنسبة (43 %) من مجتمع البحث البالغ 6501 طالباً وطالبة، تم إختيارها بطريقة عشوائية. اشتملت فقط على طلبة الصف الخامس العلمي. وقد تمت الإستعانة ببرنامج الحقيبة الإحصائية للعلوم النفسية والإجتماعية (spss) في معالجة البيانات، وقد توصل البحث إلى أن طلبة الثانوية المتميزين يتمتعون بــ (عادات العقل المنتجة). وطبقاً للنتائج، فقد تبلورت بعض التوصيات والمقترحات. The current research aimed to identify Productive habits of mind of the secondary school students gifted: 1) Self - regulation habits. 2) Critical Thinking Habits. 3) Creative thinking habits. The current research limits were limited to secondary school students gifted in Baghdad governorate for the academic year 2017-2018. The study sample consisted of (400) students, 230 students (Females), 57% and 170 students (Males), 43% selected randomly from full population 6501 Students of the fifth grade of science, and the use of the program of the statistical bag for the psychological sciences and social (spss) in the processing of data, the researchers found that secondary school gifted students enjoy the Productive habits of the mind. According to the results, some recommendations and proposals have been formulated. (Published abstract)
