تعد الأساليب المعرفية من المواضيع المهمة بالنسبة للمتعلم نظراً لإرتباطها في العملية التعليمية ومنها أسلوب الثبات- الصقل وكذلك الاتكالية المعرفية التي تتمتع بها الطالبة وتأثيرهما على أداء الطالبات لمهارة التصويب من الارتكاز بكرة اليد والتي لاحظت الباحثتان وجود ضعف في أداء تلك المهارة لذا افترضتا وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في أداء مهارة التصويب من الارتكاز بكرة اليد وفقاً للاتكالية المعرفية (الثبات- الصقل)على طالبات الصف الخامس الاعدادي واتبعتا الباحثتان المنهج الوصفي بأسلوب المقارنة وبعد تطبيق المقاييس والاختبار تم معالجتها بالوسائل الاحصائية الملائمة للتوصل إلى نتائج أدت إلى ظهور استنتاجات عديده أهمها بأن الاتكالية المعرفية والأسلوب المعرفي (الثبات - الصقل )والتي تمتع بهما الطالبات كان لهم دور كبير في تعلم واداء مهارة التصويب من الارتكاز بكرة اليد.
