هدف هذا البحث تعرّف درجة تحقيق معايير جائزة التعليم للتميز لدى معلمات الدراسات الاجتماعية بالمرحلة المتوسطة في مدينة الرياض، وقد تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي المسحي والتحليلي، وقد بلغت عينة الدراسة (33) معلمة دراسات اجتماعية للمرحلة المتوسطة من المدارس الحكومية في مدينة الرياض، وجاءت الدراسة بمجموعة من النتائج أبرزها: أن معايير جائزة التعليم للتميز في المجال الأول التمكن العلمي والتنمية المهنية لدى معلمات الدراسات الاجتماعية بالمرحلة المتوسطة في مدينة الرياض حققت متوسط حسابي بلغ (1,65) وتقدير أداء مقبول، وقد تم ترتيب المعايير وفقا لمتوسطها الحسابي حيث حصل المعيار "التمكن من التخصص العلمي" على متوسط حسابي بلغ (2,25) وبتقدير أداء جيد جدا، يليه معيار "التنمية المهنية" بمتوسط حسابي بلغ (1,68) بتقدير أداء مقبول، وأخيرا معيار "التمكن من البحث العلمي" بلغ (1,02) بتقدير أداء مقبول، وحققت معايير جائزة التعليم للتميز في المجال الثاني قيادة التعليم والتعلم لدى معلمات الدراسات الاجتماعية بالمرحلة المتوسطة في مدينة الرياض (2,81) وتقدير أداء جيد جدا، وقد حصلت جميع المعايير على تقدير أداء جيد جدا، و لقد تم ترتيب المعايير وفقا لمتوسطها الحسابي حيث حصل معيار التخطيط للتدريس على أعلى متوسط حسابي بلغ (2,91)، يليه معيار مهارات التقويم وبلغ (2,81)، وأخيرا مهارات التنفيذ بمتوسط حسابي وبلغ (2,72). The research aimed to identify the achievement degree of education excellence award standards for the teachers of social studies in the intermediate level in Riyadh city. In this context, the researcher has used the descriptive survey approach. The study sample has reached (33) of social studies teachers for the intermediate level in the government schools in Riyadh city. The study has revealed a range of findings including: that the standards of education excellency award in the first field of academic proficiency and professional development for social studies teachers in the intermediate level in Riyadh city has achieved arithmetic mean of (1.65) with acceptable grade in performance evaluation. The standards have been arranged according to its arithmetic mean where the standard of “academic specialization proficiency” has achieved a mean of (2.25) with good grade in performance evaluation, followed by the standard of professional development which has achieved (1.68) with an acceptable grade in performance evaluation. Finally, the standard of academic research that has achieved (1.02) with an acceptable grade in performance evaluation. On the other hand, the standards of the second field of leading teaching and learning for social studies teachers in the intermediate level in Riyadh city have achieved (2.81) with very good grade in performance evaluation, as the case of all standards that have achieved good grade in performance evaluation, and were arranged according to their arithmetic mean as follows: the standard of planning for teaching attained the highest mean (2.91), followed by the standard of assessment skills with a mean of (2.81) and finally the standard of teaching skills with a mean of (2.72).
