هدفت الدراسة الحالية للكشف عن متطلبات استخدام وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي في مدارس مديرية تربية لواء المزار الشمالي وتحديات استخدامها ومقترحات تطويرها من وجهة نظر معلميها في ضوء بعض المتغيرات، واستخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (200) معلما ومعلمة، طبقت عليهم استبانة مكونة من (76) فقرة، موزعة على أربعة متطلبات رئيسة مرتبطة باستخدام وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي، بالإضافة إلى سؤالين مفتوحين الإجابة، وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة حصول متطلب عناصر العملية التعليمية، ومتطلب البيئة التعليمية، ومتطلب الإدارة المدرسية على درجة عالية، وبمتوسطات حسابية (3,63، 3,44، 3,63) على التوالي، في حين حصل متطلب ميزانية المدرسة على المتوسط (3,13) وبدرجة متوسطة، كما بينت النتائج أن نسبة تحديات استخدام وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي (80,7%)، كما قدمت عينة الدراسة مقترحات لتطوير استخدام وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي، منها إعادة تصميم المناهج الدراسية بما يتلاءم مع استخدام الوسائل التفاعلية، وتوافر الانترنت بشكل مستمر في البيئة التعليمية، وتعيين مديري مدارس يمتلكون المعرفة الكافية بوسائل التواصل، ودعم موازنة المدارس الدائم والمستمر لتوفير التقنية بها، كما كشفت النتائج عن وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في متطلب عناصر العملية التعليمية، والبيئة التعليمية تعزى لمتغير الجنس ولصالح المعلمين، بينما لم تظهر مثل هذه الفروق في متطلب الادارة المدرسية، وميزانية المدرسية، كما كشف النتائج عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في متطلبات استخدام وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي تعزى لمتغير المرحلة الدراسية. وقد أوصت الدراسة بضرورة تلبية متطلبات استخدام وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي المتعلقة بعناصر العملية التعليمية، والبيئة التعليمية، والإدارة المدرسية، بالإضافة إلى استخدام وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي في البيئات التعليمية. The current study aimed to reveal the requirements, the challenges, and the recommendations for improving the use of social media in the schools of Almazar Alshamali directorate from the perspective of the teachers. The study implemented the descriptive research on a sample of (200) male and female teachers. A questionnaire of 76 items divided into four main sections, in addition to two open-ended answer questions related to social media was distributed on the sample. The study found that the requirement elements of the educational process, the learning environment, and the school administration obtained a high degree with means of (3.63, 3.44, 3.66) consecutively. While the means for the school budget obtained an intermediate degree with a mean of (3.13). The results revealed that the challenge of using social media percentage is (80.7%). The study sample offered recommendations for improving the implementation of social media in education. These recommendations include redesigning a curriculum suitable for social media implementation, securing the constant internet availability in the educational environment, employing social media literate principals, providing adequate school budgets necessary for obtaining the technology. The results have revealed statistically significant differences in the requirements of the educational processes and educational environment based on the gender variable in favor of male teachers. However, these variations did not appear in the school administration requirement and school budget. The results have not shown significant variability in the requirements for using social media based on the educational level. The study recommends providing the requirements for using social media in the educational process, the educational environment, and school administration. (Published abstract)
