In light of the recent global crisis of the spread of the new Corona virus, which forced education systems around the world to switch to e-learning instead of face and traditional learning, researchers must work to uncover the most important requirements for employing e-learning in the educational process. In terms of the requirements of the educational environment, the curriculum, teacher training and other requirements that determine the effectiveness of employing e-learning. Therefore, this study came with the aim of identifying the requirements for employing electronic education in teaching English language to high school students in public schools in the Qassim region. Matching with the nature of the study, the descriptive method was adopted and the data were collected by administering the questionnaire to the study sample that consisted of (150) teachers from secondary schools in Al-Qassim Governorate. Results indicated that the requirements related to the design of the English language curriculum were high and ranked first among the requirements with a mean (4.43), followed by the requirements related to the educational environment with a high mean also (4.47), then the requirements related to teacher training ranked third with a high mean also (4.51), and in the end came the mean for the effectiveness of employing e-learning in teaching The English language subject has a high score (4.41), and in a way that indicates the high effectiveness of e-learning when providing the three previous requirements (curriculum, educational environment, and teacher training). Finally, the study recommended the necessity of improving the educational climate, restructuring the teaching curriculum, and providing the required educational media as well as guidelines for teachers to enhance e-learning of the English language.
