This study aimed to identify the use of management information systems and their relationship with the level of control to the leaders in the Ministry of Education in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the study sample consisted of (051) educational leaders, they were chosen in a comprehensive scanning method, were also the relational descriptive approach was used for collecting data, two questionnaires were developed: The First is to use management information systems, The Second is for the administrative control, the validity and reliability of the two questionnaires have been verified . The results showed the level of the use of administrative information systems and administrative control among educational leaders were high, it also showed the existence of positive correlations with statistic at a level (α = 0.05) between the use of management information systems and their fields, and the level (α =0.05) of administrative control and its fields from the workers viewpoint. The results showed that there were no statistically significant difference at the significance level (α =0.05) in the degree of using management information systems due to the variables ( gender, educational qualifications, years of service) and the presence of statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α =0.05) attributed to the variable of the job title in favor of the manager, at the level of administrative control of the degree of use (software, human supplies, and quality of information) attributed to the variable of the academic qualification in favour of postgraduate studies and the absence of statistically significant difference at the level (α =0.05) of significance in the degree of the use of information devices and tools due to the variable of the scientific qualification in favour of postgraduate studies. The results also showed that there are statistically significant differences at the level of (α =0.05) administrative control for educational leaders in the Ministry of Education centre due to the variable of the job title in favour of the director. And the absence of statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α = 0.05) in the level of administrative control of educational leaders in the Ministry of Education center attributed to ( gender, educational qualification and years of service), the study recommended a set of recommendations, the most important of which was to continue raising the efficiency of administrative information systems and provide the latest hardware and software needed to complete the ministry’s work and keep pace with developments, develop and continuously update administrative information systems used in the ministry to suit modern technological changes and developments, and spread awareness of the importance of administrative oversight and the role it achieves in achieving goals and correcting performance rather than finding penalties or phishing errors and continuous updating in the methods of supervisory authority used in carrying out the supervisory tasks, which is characterized by accuracy, workmanship and high flexibility.
