This study explored the effect of a computer multimedia- based unit on the EFL students' performance in English language skills. Fifty-eight 9th grade female students at an intermediate school for girls situated in Unaizah (Saudi Arabia) were selected as the study sample. They were randomly distributed to two groups: one experimental group and one control group (29 each). The experimental group was taught using the computer multimedia- based unit. The control group was taught using the traditional method. Findings of the study reveal that there were significant differences between the mean scores of the control group and the experimental group due to the method of teaching in favor of the experimental group which was taught by the multimedia-based unit.
