يهدف هذا البحث إلي توضيح دور التعليم المستمر في تفعيل التماسك الاجتماعي، وذلك في ضوء رؤية تحليلية مقترحة تناولت مفهوم كل من التعليم المستمر والتماسك الاجتماعي، وإستخدم البحث المنهج الوصفي في دراسة الظروف والظواهر والعلاقات المرتبطة بكل من التعليم المستمر والتماسك الاجتماعي، وتم عرض بعض الدراسات العربية والاجنبية التي اجريت في مجالي (التعليم المستمر - التماسك الاجتماعي) وجاء البحث في محورين رئيسيين، تناول المحور الأول الأسس النظرية للتعليم المستمر من حيث المفهوم والأهمية والخصائص وأنماط التعليم المستمر وتحدياتة وتناول المحور الثاني التماسك الاجتماعي من حيث تعريفة وأهدافة وعلاقة التعليم المستمر بالتماسك الاجتماعي وأهم العوامل التي تساعد علي ضعف تماسك المجتمع مع توضيح الوضع التربوي الذي يضعف من تماسك المجتمع وإختتم البحث بمجموعة من النتائج والاليات المقترحة لتحقيق الأهداف المرجوة من البحث، مع توضيح بعض المعوقات التي تعوق تنفيذ تلك الاليات، وذيل البحث بقائمة من المراجع التي تم الإستعانة والإستفادة منها. This thesis aims to submit the role of progressive education in confirming the social cohesion in the light of Asuggested analytical view that indicates the definition of the progressive education and the social cohesion using the descriptive curriculum in the studying of the circumstances, phenomena and the relationships between the progressive education and the social cohesion. Some Arabic and foreign studies were presented in conducting these two fields (progressive education- social cohesion). This thesis has two sections, the first section includes the theoritical background of the progressive education from the definition, the importance, characteristics and the main types of progressive education and its challenges. The second section includes the social cohesion from the aims, definition and the relationship between the progressive education and the social cohesion the most important factors that lead to the social cohesion weakness indicating the educational position that weak of the social cohesion. The thesis was concluded by a group of results and suggested techniques for achieving the main thesis aims with indicating some impedimenta that cramp these techniques. This thesis ending by some references that the researcher benefits from and uses it. (Published abstract)
