ينطلق البحث من أهمية تعليم قواعد اللغة العربية التي تساعد في تعليم المواد الدراسية الأخرى وفهمها فيتناول كتب القواعد في الصفين العاشر والثاني عشر في الأردن، وفي الصفين التاسع والثاني عشر في سلطنة عمان محاولاً وصف طريقة عرض القاعدة اللغوية في كتب القواعد: أهي طريقة استقرائية تستنبط القاعدة من الصفات المشتركة والمختلفة للظاهرة اللغوية ومقارنتها؟ أم هي طريقة كلية تستنبط القاعدة اللغوية من النص اللغوي بأكمله؟ وبالإضافة إلى المنهجين الأردني والعماني يتضمن البحث دراسة إحصائية خاصة بالقواعد في التراث اللغوي العربية من خلال سبعة من كتب النحو الأصول، كما يتضمن المستوى النحوي (الحال والاستثناء) والمستوى الصرفي. وفي مجال المقارنة بين قواعد الحال تظهر زيادة في حجم القواعد وتدريباتها في المنهج الأردني قياساً على المنهج العماني. وفي باب الاستثناء يظهر البحث أنه قد غلب كلا المنهجين الاستعانة بأمثلة نحوية من القرآن الكريم، ومن الشعر العربي الكلاسيكي، ومن الأدب العربي الحديث الهادف مما يوصل التلميذ بقواعد اللغة بصورة متينة فضلاً عن أهمية هذه الأمثلة في تنمية منظومة متميزة من القيم الأخلاقية السامية عند التلاميذ. Recognizing the importance of teaching Arabic grammar, which aids in teaching and learning of other school subjects, the study examines the grammar books of the 10th and 12th grades in Jordan and those of the 9th and 12th grades in the Sultanate of Oman, in an attempt to describe the method in which grammar books present grammar rules. Is it a presentation method that infers the rule through a comparative approach to language? Or is it a comprehensive textual method that infers the grammar rule from entirety of the text? In addition to the Jordanian and Omani curricula, the paper includes a statistical study specifically on the use of Arabic grammar in Arab linguistic tradition through the examination of seven classic Arabic grammar references. The study also covers the syntactic level (the case and its exceptions) and the morphological level (the word formation rules). In comparing the attention given to syntax in the two countries, it was found that the volume of grammar and grammar exercises in the Jordanian curriculum was larger than that of the Omani curriculum. On the morphological level, the study revealed that in both curricula, the dominant trend was to cite examples from the Holy Koran, from classical Arabic poetry, and from didactic modern Arabic literature, all of which solidly prepares students in grammar, not to mention the significance of these citations in fostering a distinguished system of high moral values in students.
