هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرًف على معوقات التحصيل الدراسي في مادة الرياضيات المدرسية للطالب بالمرحلة المتوسطة بالتعليم العام بوادي الدواسر بالمملكة العربية السعودية كما يدركها الطلاب أنفسهم، وإيجاد طرق لمعالجتها.استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي. تم تفريغ البيانات ومعالجتها إحصائيا، وتوصل الباحث إلى نتائج كان من أهمها: وجود معوقات مختلفة للتحصيل الدراسي في مادة الرياضيات للطالب في المرحلة المتوسطة من التعليم العام، كما توصل الباحث إلى مقترحات لمعالجة تلك المعوقات. كما قدم الباحث عدد من التوصيات في ضوء نتائج البحث. The study aimed at identifying the obstacles of achieving academic outcomes in schooling mathematics among the students of the intermediate schools in general education in Wadi Al Dawasir in Saudi Arabia as students themselves are aware of these difficulties, and to find ways to tackle them. The researcher used the descriptive approach, the data was entered and statistically processed, and the researcher came up with the different obstacles of academic achievement in mathematics for students, the researcher was able to address these obstacles leading to achievement in the mathematics for the student, also a number of recommendation scan be made.
