هدفت الدراسة لمعرفة تأثير الإنترنت في تدريس مادة اللغة الانجليزية لطلبة التعليم المفتوح في سورية من خلال قياسه على أداء المدرّس ومحتوى المنهج وطرق التدريس وخصائص الدارسين والوسائل والتقنيات الإلكترونية وذلك باستخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلي. بلغت عينة الدراسة (56) مبحوثا من مُدرّسي التعليم المفتوح في جامعة حلب. طُبقت عليها أداة الدراسة (الاستبانة) بعد التأكد من معاملات الصدق والثبات. اُستخدام لتحليل البيانات حزمة الـ (SPSS). وقد خَلُصت الدراسة إلى نتائج أهمها أن محور خصائص الدارسين قد جاء بدرجة عالية جدا، ومحور أداء عضو هيئة التدريس؛ وطرق التدريس والوسائل والتقنيات الإلكترونية جاءت بدرجة عالية. أما المحور المتعلق بمحتوى المنهج المقرر فقد جاء بدرجة متوسطة. كما أظهرت النتائج أنه توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية حول تأثير الإنترنت في تدريس مادة اللغة الانجليزية لطلاب التعليم المفتوح وفق ا لمتغير عدد سنوات الخبرة ومتغير مستوى العمر، والتي جاءت لصالح الخبرة الأعلى والشريحة العمرية الأكبر. في حين أنه لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تُعزى لمتغير المؤهل العلمي وأن هناك علاقة ارتباطيه بين مستوى الأداء والخبرة والعمر.وقد خلصت الدراسة إلى توصيات كاعتماد التعليم الإلكتروني في التعليم المفتوح مدعما بالبرامج الإلكترونية، وتطوير محتوى المنهج، والتواصل مع الجامعات التي تعتمد هذا النوع من التعليم. The study aimed at finding out the impact of Internet on teaching English language for open education students in Syria by measuring the faculty performance, curriculum content, teaching methods, characteristics of learners, and the digital means. The study used descriptive analytical research approach. The sample of the study consisted of (56) respondents from open learning faculties at the University of Aleppo. A questionnaire was developed to identify the degree of the effect of Internet in teaching English language from the perspective of the sample. Validity and reliability of the responses were verified which hit 0.822. SPSS data analysis was used. Results showed that the factor of learners’ characteristics was the highest, whereas the faculty performance, teaching methods and digital means were higher. While the curriculum content’s degree was average. The results also showed statistically significant differences on the effect of the Internet in teaching English language for open education students with respect to the years of experience and to the age level, sided to those of higher experience and senior ages. There was no statistically significant differences on faculties’ perspective with respect to the academic qualification, but there was a correlation among the levels of performance, experience and age.
