The study aimed to prepare a program for developing the innovative abilities in fashion design to the female students of home economic, and the study sample consisted of (20 students) of students in the sixth grade - Department of Home Economics - Faculty of Science and Education - Taif University for the academic year 1434/1435 AH and the sample was divided into two groups; experimental group ( 10 students ) and the control group (10 students ). The study found the presence of statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group and between the mean scores of the control group in the cognitive posttest test for the experimental group, and the presence of statistically significant differences between the mean score for students of the experimental group and between the mean scores of the control group in the observation card to estimate the innovation abilities for the experimental group , and in the estimated scale the skill performance for the experimental group too.
