Aim of this study is to effectiveness of training program based on the mental processes in the development of creative thinking skills of gifted students, formed the study sample of 34 students from ninth grade gifted in sahab center, were distributed into two groups, experimental group (19) and the control group (15), the program was used to document some of mental processes (remembance, interpreting, hypothesizing, cause & effect, inductive reasoning, deductive reasoning, concluding, criticism) and a measure of the Torrance tests of creative thinking after making sure of psychometric characteristics and suitability for the study results of the study to: the existence of statistically significant differences between the mean performance of the two groups on total score and those skills, and the difference in favor of the experimental group, and there is no statistically significant differences between the mean performance of the two groups between males and females, caused by gender.
