هدف البحث إلى فاعلیة استخدام الاستراتیجیة المقترحة القائمة على قبعات التفكیر الست فى تنمیة بعض عادات العقل وتحصیل الریاضیات  لدى طلاب الصف الاول الثانوى . وقد أعدت الباحثة: مقیاس عادات العقل ، وبطاقة التقدیر الذاتى لقیاس عادات العقل,اخنبار تحصیلى فى الهندسة لطلاب الصف الأول الثانوى (الفصل الدراسى الثانى) ,كما اعدت الباحثة دلیل معلم لتدریس مقرر الهندسة بالصف الأول الثانوى (الفصل الدراسى الثانى) بالاستراتیجیة المقترحة. واستخدمت الباحثة عینه من طلاب الصف الأول الثانوى قوامها 64طالبة، تم تقسیمهم الى مجموعتین متكافئتین (ضابطة وتجریبیة)، وتم تطبیق ادوات البحث قبل وبعدتدریس المقرر بالاستراتیجیة المقترحة. وقداشارت نتائج البحث الى: فاعلیة الاستراتیجیة المقترحة فى تنمیة عادات العقل (موضع الاهتمام بالبحث)، ورفع مستوى التحصیل فى الهندسة، حیث تفوقت المجموعة التجریبیة على المجموعة الضابطة فى التحصیل وعادات العقل،  وكان حجم الأثر كبیرا فى تنمیة عادات العقل والتحصیل لدى طلاب المجموعة التجریبیة. This research aims to: determine the effectiveness of the suggested strategy based on the six thinking hats in mathematics achievement, and developing some mind habits of the first secondary year students. The researcher designed: a mind habits scale, a self-estimation card for measuring mind habits and a geometry achievement test for the first secondary year students (second term).Also, the researcher designed a teacher guide, for teaching the geometry course of the first secondary year students (second term), based on the suggested strategy. The researcher used a sample of the first secondary year students, consisting of 64 students divided to two equal groups (experimental and control), and research tools were applied before and after teaching the geometry course based on the suggested strategy. The research results indicated the effectiveness of the suggested strategy in developing the selected mind habits and raising achievement level in geometry as the experimental group surpassed the control group and the impact was stronger in developing mind habits and achievement for the experimental group students.
