The study aimed to identify the reality of professional development for faculty members at the University of Tabuk, to identify the most important methods of professional development for university faculty members, and to find the most important ways to achieve the professional development of faculty at the University of Tabuk in the light of quality standards and accreditation. The study used a descriptive approach because of its role in the understanding of a fact of minutes from the circumstances, facilitating the development of important relationships between the phenomena under way and the interpretation of data, and because the descriptive approach is consistent and commensurate with the nature of research and subject matter. The study used a questionnaire to reveal the reality and the requirements of professional development for faculty members at the University of Tabuk in the light of quality standards and accreditation. It has been applied to a sample of members the University of Tabuk of various scientific and theoretical specializations. The most important results of the study were all expressions not function with the exception of phrases numbers (4.7, 17), which refers to the agreement of all members of the research sample according to the variable of experience on the reality of professional development for faculty members at the University of Tabuk as shown by weight relative. While the significant data of the sample proves differences on the provision of an integrated database to help in professional development for faculty members, as well as the production of training packages for faculty members contribute to the self and professional development, and also participate in the activities of scientific exhibitions and cultural activities within the Kingdom.
