هدفت الدراسة إلى إلقاء الضوء على أهم مظاهر العنف ومدى انتشاره لدى عينة من طلبة جامعة القدس ومعرفة المتغير الذي يتنبأ بالعنف في الجامعة. وبينت نتائج الدراسة أن هناك نسبة 39.2% من الطلبة لديهم درجة من العنف بشكل عال، وهناك 13.8% لديهم درجة منخفضة من العنف و46.9% لديهم درجة متوسطة من العنف. وأظهرت نتائج الفرضية الأولى ارتفاع درجة العنف لدى الطلبة الذكور عنه لدى الإناث، كما أظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق دالة بين الطلبة ذوي التخصص العلمي والأدبي. وأظهرت النتائج وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين الطلبة المدخنين وغير المدخنين على الدرجة الكلية حيث بلغت قيمة (ت) = 3.468 وهي دالة عند مستوى 0.001 لصالح الطلبة المدخنين وأظهرت فروق دالة تجاه الإدارة لصالح الطلبة المدخنين، كما أظهرت النتائج أنه لا يوجد فرق ذو دلالة إحصائية بين الطلبة الذين يشاهدون أفلام العنف والذين لا يشاهدونها على الدرجة الكلية والممتلكات والطلاب والإدارة والمكتبة والموظفين حسب مشاهدة أفلام العنف، وأظهرت نتائج الفرضية الخامسة عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائية تعزى إلى السنة الدراسية. This study aimed at investigating the attitudes of Al-Quds university students toward university violence. To achieve random sample of 170 students were selected from different colleges of the university. Their mean age was 19.54 with range 1826- years old. The results of the study showed that there are significant differences among male and female students in violence toward university library and employees in favor of male, while there were no significant differences among them on total score of violence, violence toward properties of university, violence toward students, violence toward university administration, violence toward university library and employees and total score of violence among students from science colleges and Arts. Regarding smoking, the results indicated that there are significant differences among smoking students and non- smokers in violence toward properties on university, violence toward university administration, and total score of violence.
