هدفت الدراسة التعرف على دور كلية التربية في خدمة المجتمع في ضوء رؤية 2030 من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس بجامعة جدة. واستخدمت المنهج المملكة الوصفي بتطبيق إستبانة على عينة من أعضاء هيئة التدريس. وتوصلت إلى أن أدوار كلية التربية في خدمة المجتمع أهمها تنمية العادات الصحيحة في الأسرة والحرص على إقامة جسور التعاون بين كلية التربية والبيئة المحيطة وتعليم معلمي التربية الخاصة كيفية تطبيق بعض أساليب القياس لتحديد حاجات الطلاب المعوقين. وأشارت بعدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً نحو هذه المجالات باختلاف متغيرات الدراسة وأهم المعوقات التي تواجه خدمة المجتمع هي قلة الدعم المالي واقترحت إنشاء مركز لتقديم الإستشارات التربوية والنفسية. The study aimed at identifying the role of the Faculty of Education in the community service in light of vision of the Kingdom 2030 from the faculty members’ point of view at the University of Jeddah. The study used descriptive method through a questionnaire applied to a sample of the faculty members. It concluded that the role of the College in serving the community is the development of the right habits in the family and the importance of establishing bridges of cooperation between the Faculty of Education and the surrounding environment and teaching special education teachers how to apply some methods of measurement to determine the needs of students with disabilities and pointed out that there are no statistically significant differences in these fields. The main obstacles facing the community service are the lack of financial support and suggested the establishment of a center to provide educational and psychological counseling. (Published abstract)
