The aim of this study is to diagnose the reality of institutional excellence in the management of Oriental education in the light of the European model and its role in realizing the Saudi vision 2030. The European model is one of the main frameworks to help institutions to enhance their competitiveness and achieve excellence and ambitious visions. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the analytical descriptive method by developing a questionnaire and applying it to a simple random sample of (942) individuals (40.10%) of the employees of the Department of Education in the Eastern Region. The data were analyzed using the SPSS program. The study yielded the following results: 1) The reality of institutional excellence in the administration of Oriental education in the light of the European model from the point of view of the members of the study sample was (Large) with an average of (3.54). 2) The role of institutional excellence in achieving the vision of Saudi Arabia 2030 from the point of view of the members of the study sample was (Large) with an average of (3.43). In light of the results of the study, the researcher recommended the following: 1) Urging the leadership of the East Education Department to carry out periodic reviews of the objectives to ensure that they meet the needs of beneficiaries through the application of areas of the questionnaire and the study of several periodic surveys. 2) Work on the subordination of administrative operations in the Department of Oriental Education for external evaluation in accordance with educational standards. 3) Urging the leadership of the East Education Department to adopt creative ideas in all fields and employ them in national development.
