هدف البحث إلى تعرف مستوى تمكن الطلاب المعلمين تخصص اللغة العربية بكلية التربية بجامعة الملك خالد من أساليب تنمية مهارات التحدث لدى طلاب الصف السادس الابتدائي، ولتحقيق ذلك اُستخدم المنهج الوصفي؛ حيث أُعد لذلك قائمة مهارات التحدث المناسبة لطلاب الصف السادس الابتدائي، وقائمة بالأساليب التدريسية اللازمة لتنمية تلك المهارات، وبطاقة ملاحظة الطلاب المعلمين، وأوضحت نتائج الدراسة بأن مهارات التحدث المناسبة لتلاميذ الصف السادس الابتدائي اشتملت على (4) مهارات رئيسة، وتضمنت (20) مهارة فرعية. كما بينت النتائج بأن الأساليب التدريسية اللازمة لتنمية مهارات التحدث لدى تلاميذ الصف السادس الابتدائي تكونت من (41) أسلوبا لتنمية مهارات التحدث لدى تلاميذ الصف السادس الابتدائي، وأن مستوى تمكن الطلاب المعلمين تخصص اللغة العربية من الأساليب اللازمة لتنمية مهارات التحدث الصوتية لدى تلاميذ الصف السادس الابتدائي متوسط، واللغوية متوسط، والفكرية ضعيف، والملمحية ضعيف. وفي ضوء ذلك قدمت التوصيات والمقترحات. This study aimed at identifying the level of Arabic student - teachers' mastery of methods of developing speaking skills for the Sixth grade elementary students. To achieve this aim, the descriptive method was utilized; where a list of appropriate speaking skills for sixth grade students, a list of methods needed for the development of those skill and student - teacher observation form was prepared. The most important results were as follows: the speaking skills for pupils in the sixth grade consisted of four key skills including 20 sub-skills. The methods for the development of speaking skills for pupils in the sixth grade elementary school consisted of 41 methods to develop speaking skills for sixth grade pupils. Student- teachers’ mastery level in the methods needed to develop the skills of speaking and linguistic for pupils in the sixth grade of elementary was at the average level, while their level in the intellectual and body language is weak. In that light, some recommendations and proposals were presented. (Published abstract)
