هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى معرفة درجة ممارسة مديري المدارس الفلسطينيّة الثانويّة الخاصة للقيادة وفقا لنظريّة جيم كولينز، ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة اعتمدت هذه الدراسة المنهج الوصفيّ المسحيّ التطويريّ حيث تم مسح الأدب النظريّ والدراسات السابقة ذات العلاقة، وتم تطوير استبانة لجمع بيانات الدراسة حول واقع القيادة في المدارس الفلسطينيّة الثانويّة الخاصة من وجهة نظر المعلمين والمديرين أنفسهم، وتكونت أداة الدراسة من (78) فقرة، توزعت على سبعة مجالات: صفات القيادة، خصائص التوظيف الصفات التنظيمية، الرؤية، الثقافة التنظيمية، الثقافة التكنولوجية، بناء القوة الدافعة للعمل، وبعد التأكد من صدقها وثباتها؛ تم تطبيقها على عينة الدراسة البالغة (644) من مديري ومعلمي المدارس الفلسطينية الثانوية الخاصة؛ والذين تم اختيارهم بالطريقة الطبقية العشوائيّة من مجتمع الدراسة الكلي. بيّنت النتائج أنّ درجة ممارسة مديري المدارس للقيادة كانت متوسطة، وذلك بالاستناد على ما طرحه كولينز في نظريته،حيث بلغ المتوسط الحسابيّ لها (2.82) والإنحراف المعياري (0.92) كما كشفت الدراسة عن وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعزى لمتغيرات سنوات الخدمة، المؤهل العلميّ، الجنس والمسمى الوظيفي، وقد أوصت الدراسة بإعداد برامج تأهيلية لمديري المدارس وفق القيادة من المستوى الخامس، وبإجراء دراسات تحليلية وواقعيّة للبيئات الداخليّة والخارجيّة للمدارس الفلسطينيّة الخاصة. This study aimed to explore the degree of practice of the level 5 leadership by the Palestinian private high school principals according to Jim Collins' theory. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive developed approach has been adopted, and the theoretical literature and previous relevant studies were reviewed. Also, a questionnaire was developed to collect the study data about the leadership reality in Palestinian private high schools, from the point of view of teachers and principals themselves. The study instrument consisted of (78) items, divided into seven domains: leadership qualities, recruitment properties, organizational characteristics, vision, organizational culture, technological culture and building the driving force of work. After verifying the validity and reliability of the instrument, it has been applied to the study sample that amounted to (644) of both principals and teachers of the Palestinian private high schools, whom they were selected using the stratified random method. The findings showed that the degree of practice of leadership qualities among principals of private high schools in Palestine was moderate, with a mean of (2.82) and standard deviation of (0.92). The study also revealed the existence of statistical significance differences attributed to the variables of gender, job title, years of experience and scientific qualification. The study recommended the preparation of training programs for school principals according to the level 5 leadership, conducting analytical and realistic studies of the internal and external environments of Palestinian private schools.
