هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى بناء برنامج تدريبي مستند إلى أسلوب التدريس التبادلي واستقصاء أثره في تنمية المهارات المعرفية لدى الطلبة ذوي صعوبات التعلم في منطقة عسير، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من ستين طالبا وطالبة مشخصين بأن لديهم صعوبات تعلم، تم استخدام التصميم شبه التجريبي ذي المجموعتين التجريبية، والضابطة، وقد بينت النتائج وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في المهارات المعرفية بين متوسطات المجموعة التجريبية والضابطة على الاختبار البعدي، وكان الفرق لصالح المجموعة التجريبية، ولم تظهر نتائج الدراسة فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في المهارات المعرفية تعزى إلى التفاعل بين متغيري النوع الاجتماعي والمجموعة على الاختبار البعدي، وأظهر هنالك فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في المهارات المعرفية بين المجموعة التجريبية والضابطة على اختبار المتابعة، وكانت الفروق لصالح المجموعة التجريبية. This study aimed to build a training program based on reciprocal teaching method and to explore its effect in cognitive skills’ enhancement among learning disability students. The sample consisted of sixty male and female students identified as learning disabilities students. Semi-experimental design was used, the sample was divided into two groups; experimental and control. Results showed significant statistical differences in the cognitive skills between the experimental group and the control group on the post test, in favor of the experimental group. There were no significant statistical differences in the cognitive skills that could refer to the interaction between the variables (gender and group) on the post test. Also, there were significant statistical differences in the cognitive skills between the experimental and the control group on the follow-up test, in favor of the experimental group.
