هدفت الدراسة رفع مستوى التحصيل في الكيمياء لدى طالبات الصف الأول الثانوي باستخدام نموذج درايفر، بوحدة تركيب الذرة من مقرر الكيمياء، للفصل الدراسي الأول، وقد اعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج شبه التجريبي، وتكونت العينة من (112) طالبة، مقسمة إلى مجموعتين: تجريبية مكونة من (57) طالبة دُرسن باستخدام نموذج درايفر، وضابطة مكونة من (55) طالبة دُرسن بالطريقة المعتادة، وقد أعدّت الباحثة اختبارا تحصيليا، ودليلا للمعلمة، وكراسا للنشاط، وباستخدام اختبار (ت) لمجموعتين مستقلتين، ومعادلة (مربع إيتا) لحساب حجم التأثير، فقد أسفرت الدراسة عن وجود فرق دال إحصائيا عند مستوى دلالة (α ≤0.05) بين متوسطي درجات طالبات المجموعتين التجريبية والضابطة، في اختبار التحصيل الدراسي، لصالح المجموعة التجريبية، كما كان حجم تأثير النموذج في رفع مستوى التحصيل الدراسي كبيرا. The present study aimed to identify effectiveness of Driver Model raising the level of academic achievement in Chemistry of secondary school female pupils in structure of the atom unit for the first semester and the. The study was based on a quasi-experimental approach, the sample consisted of 112 female pupils, divided into two groups: experimental consisting of (57) studied using Driver Model, control group consisted of (55) studied in the usual way. The researcher prepared achievement in Chemistry test, a guide for the teacher and activity notebook, and using the t-test for two independent, and ETA square equation to calculate the effect size. Study yielded the following results: there are statistically differences in (α ≤ 0.05) between the mean scores of pupils of the experimental group in pre and post measurement in the diagnosis alternative conceptions of Scientific Concepts and achievement in the direction of the post. And the value of Eta square was high. (Published abstract)
