هدفت الدراسة إلى وضع تصور مقترح لدور إدارة المعرفة في رفع الأداء الإداري للإداريين الأكاديميين في جامعات منطقة المكرمة، واستخدمت المنهج الوصفي، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (209) إداريا وإدارية من جامعات (أم القرى، الملك عبد العزيز، الطائف) للعام الدراسي 2013/2014، وبعد جمع البيانات تم تحليلها باستخدام المتوسطات الحسابية والانحرافات المعيارية، ومصفوفة معاملات الارتباط والتحليل العاملي، وأظهرت النتائج أن تقدير عينة الدراسة لمتطلبات إدارة المعرفة والأداء الإداري للإداريين الأكاديميين في جامعات منطقة مكة المكرمة جاء متوسطا، وكشفت النتائج وجود علاقة ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (0,01 ≤α) ومعاملات ارتباط موجبة، وعلاقة طردية بين إدارة المعرفة والأداء الإداري، وانتهت الدراسة وضع تصور مقترح لإدارة المعرفة في رفع الأداء الإداري للإداريين الأكاديميين في جامعات منطقة مكة المكرمة، والتي أوصت بتطبيقه. The study aimed at proposing a role for knowledge management on raising the administrative performance of the academic administrators at Mecca region universities. The study sample consisted of (214) male and female administrators from Mecca region universities (Umm Al Qura University, King Abdulaziz University &Taif University) of the academic year 2013/2014, and after collecting the data, it was analyzed using the arithmetic means, standard deviations, the matrix of correlation coefficients, and factor analysis. The findings of the study showed that, the estimate of the study sample of the knowledge management requirements and the administrative performance of the academic administrators at Mecca region universities was medium, and the results revealed the existence of a statistically significant relationship at the level of significance (α ≤ 0.01), positive correlation coefficients and a direct relationship between knowledge management and the administrative performance. In the light of that, the study concluded to a proposed role for knowledge management on raising the administrative performance of the academic administrators at Mecca region universities.
