هدفت الدراسة إلى توضيح نمط الشخصية السائد لدى طلبة المرحلة الثانوية بمنطقة الدمام وعلاقتها بتنظيم الذات، ولتحقيق الأهداف تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، حيث تكونت عينة الدراسة من (210) طالبا، تم اختيارهم بطريقة عشوائية من كلا الفرعين العلمي والإنساني، طبقت عليهم أدوات الدراسة المتمثلة بمقياس أنماط الشخصية من اعداد بن زروال (2013)، ومقياس تنظيم الذات اعداد الباحث. فتوصلت الدراسة إلى عدة نتائج جاء أهمها أن نمط الشخصية السائد لدى طلبة المرحلة الثانوية بمنطقة الدمام هو النمط "أ"، كما تبين أن مستوى تنظيم الذات لدى الطلبة مرتفعا، وتبين أنه توجد علاقة بين درجات الطلبة على مقياس أنماط الشخصية ودرجاتهم على تنظيم الذات، وجاءت العلاقة موجبة بمعنى أن الميل للنمط "أ" يسهم في تعزيز تنظيم الذات، واتضح أنه لا توجد فروق في تنظيم الذات تعزى لمتغيرات الفرع والتحصيل الدراسي والترتيب الولادي والتفاعل بينها. The aim of the study was to clarify the personality pattern among the secondary school students in Dammam and in a brief the self-analysis. To achieve the objectives of the study, 210 students were randomly chosen from both the scientific and human sections, the tools of the study were applied to them by the measure of personality patterns prepared by Ben Zeroual (2013) and the self-regulation scale prepared by the researcher. The study found that the result level of self-regulation among students is high, and that there is a relationship between the grades of students on the scale of personality patterns and degrees of self-regulation, and came the relationship is positive in the sense that the tendency of type "a" contributes to the strengthening of self-organization, and it became clear that there are no differences in self-organization due to the variables of the branch and the educational achievement and birth order and interaction between them.
