هدف البحث الحالي إلى معرفة دور التعليم الثانوي في بناء شخصية طالبة المرحلة الثانوية على ضوء متغيرات القرن الحادي والعشرين من وجهة نظر عينة من معلمات وموجهات المرحلة الثانوية في منطقة الرياض، وبلغ عددهن (210) معلمة و(9) موجهات، واعتمد البحث الحالي على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي وأداة البحث كانت الاستبانة. وأسفرت نتائج الدراسة عن الآتي: أن الأهداف التربوية تدعم مقومات الهوية والانتماء للوطن، وأنه من الضروري إكساب المعلم المهارات التكنولوجية والمعلوماتية الحديثة، وأيضًا ضرورة تركيز المناهج على بناء وتدعيم الأخلاق الحميدة وضرورة تفعيل مشاركة الطالبات في الأنشطة المدرسية، كما أسفر البحث عن أهمية تدريب مديرات المدارس على استخدام التكنولوجيا وأهمية العمل على بناء روح التعاون والترابط داخل المدرسة، وأوصت الدراسة بأهمية تركيز الأهداف على الهوية والانتماء للوطن وحبه والبذل له، وضرورة تركيز المسؤولين عن التعليم على تدريب مديرات المدارس على استخدام التكنولوجيا والتطور التكنولوجي، وزيادة الاهتمام بالمعلمات والحرص على إكسابهن مهارات تكنولوجية، وزيادة الاهتمام بممارسة الأنشطة الهادفة التي تُسهم في إعداد طالبات متعاونات ومتفاهمات وضرورة تركيز المناهج على غرس الأخلاق الحميدة لدى الطالبات. This study aims to identify high school education role in forming the character of high school student in the light of twenty one century variables out of female teacher's and advisors view in Riyadh, whose number (210) teachers and (9) advisors. The current study depended on analytic and descriptive methodology. The tool of this study is questionnaire. Moreover, the study resulted in important results. It showed that the educational objectives enhance identity constituents and belonging for home, as it is necessary to enable teacher to get modern information and technological skills. Also, it is necessary to make curriculums focus on developing and enhancing good ethics and help in activating student's participation in school activities. The study explores the importance of training for teacher's managers on using technology, and the importance of focusing objectives on identity and home belonging. In addition, it showed that it is necessary to make education executives focus on training school's managers on using technology, technological development, raising interest of teachers, enabling them to acquire the technological skills, raising interest to practice the target activities that participate on resulting cooperative and understandable students, and curriculums should focus on instilling good ethics for students.
