هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على أثر التدريس باستخدام اليدويات (بطاقة الأعداد وقطع دينز) على تحصيل طلبة الصف السادس الأساسي في الأردن عند دراستهم العمليات على الأعداد الصحيحة مقارنة بالأسلوب التقليدي. استخدمت الباحثة المنهج شبه التجريبي القائم على تصميم المجموعات التجريبية والضابطة ذات القياس القبلي والبعدي، تكونت عينة الدراسة من مجموعتين –اختيرتا قصدياً- من طالبات الصف السادس في عائشة بنت أبي بكر في لواء الرصيفة: تكونت المجموعة التجريبية من (32) طالبة تمّ تدريسه العمليات على الأعداد الصحيحة باستخدام بطاقة الأعداد وأشكال دينز، وتكونت المجموعة الضابطة من (32) طالبة تمّ تدريسه العمليات على الأعداد الصحيحة باستخدام الطريقة التقليدية. وتمّ إعداد اختبار تحصيلي لمعرفة الفروق بين المجموعتين التجريبية والضابطة. أظهرت النتائج وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى (0.05) بين متوسطي درجات المجموعة التجريبية والمجموعة الضابطة بعد دراستهم لموضوع الأعداد والعمليات عليها في الاختبار التحصيلي البعدي لصالح المجموعة التجريبية. وفي ضوء نتائج الدراسة توصي الباحثة بضرورة اهتمام المدارس بتوفير الوسائل التعليمية وضرورة إنشاء معمل رياضيات في كل مدرسة يحتوي على الوسائل والأدوات التعليمية التي تستخدم في تدريس الرياضيات. This study aimed to identify the influence of the using of manipulatives (number card and Dienes blocks) in the teaching of operations on integers on sixth grade students' achievement in Jordan when their studies operations on integers compared to the traditional manner. The researcher used the experimental method based on experimental and control groups. The sample of the study consisted of two groups chosen intentionally from sixth grade students in Aisha Abu Bakr in the Rusaifa district: The control group which was taught in the usual way and it was one class taught operations on integers which consisted of (32), the experimental group which was taught the correct processes using card numbers and Dienes blocks which consisted of (32) students. The study tool was applied, which is an achievement test of (pre and post) on the control and experimental sections. The study reached many results, the most important of which were the differences of statistical significance at the level of (0.05) between the average scores of the control and experimental groups on the achievement in favor of the experimental group. The result showed that there were a statistically significance at α=0.05 between the average scores of the experimental group and control group after their studies to the question of numbers and operations on them in the post test in favor of the experimental group. In the light of these results and their conclusions, the study came out in recommendations that schools should be interested in providing the educational means and the need to establish mathematics lab in each school containing the tools and educational tools used in the teaching of mathematics.
