هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى بحث العلاقة بين معتقدات الكفاءة الذاتية والتحصيل الدراسي لدى تلاميذ الطور الثانوي، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (789) تلميذ وتلميذة للسنة الدراسية (2016-2017) تم اختيارهم بطريقة عرضية. وأشارت نتائج الدراسة الى ما يلي: 1(عدم وجود علاقة ارتباطية دالة إحصائيا بين معتقدات الكفاءة الذاتية والتحصيل الدراسي لدى كل من الذكور والاناث. 2(عدم وجود فروق جنسية دالة إحصائيا في معتقدات الكفاءة الذاتية. 3( وجود فروق جنسية دالة إحصائيا عند مستوى الدلالة 0.01 في التحصيل الدراسي لصالح الإناث. This study aimed to examine the relationship between self-efficacy beliefs and academic achievement and the gender differences on students secondary stage. The study sample, randomly chosen, consisted of (789) students for the academic year (2016-2017). The results of the study indicated that: 1) There is no statistically significant correlation between self-efficacy beliefs and academic achievement in males and females students. 2) There are no statistically significant gender differences in self efficacy beliefs. 3) There are significant statistical gender differences in the academic achievement in favor of females.
