هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى معرفة حجم العلاقة الارتباطية واتجاهها بين قلق الحاسوب والاتجاه نحوه من جهة وتحصيل طلبة الجامعة في مادة الحاسوب من جهة أخرى، كما هدفت إلى تحديد الأهمية النسبية لكل من هذه المتغيرات في التنبؤ بهما بتحصيل طلبة الجامعة في مادة الحاسوب. ولتحقيق هدف الدراسة طور الباحثون مقياسين أحدهما لقياس قلق الحاسوب، والثاني لقياس الاتجاه نحو الحاسوب. تكونت عينة الدراسة من (300) طالباً وطالبة. بينت النتائج أن التحصيل في مادة الحاسوب ارتبط مع متغيرات قلق الحاسوب والاتجاه نحوه بقيم ذات دلاله إحصائية . وأشارت نتائج تحليل التباين للانحدار المتعدد المتدرج إلى أن قلق الحاسوب والاتجاه نحوه أسهما في تفسير تباين درجات الطلبة في مادة الحاسوب وقد أسهم متغير الاتجاه نحو الحاسوب بمقدار أكبر في تفسير تباين درجات تحصيل الطلبة في مادة الحاسوب لدى جميع عينات الدراسة. أما بالنسبة للجنس فقد فسر هذا المتغير بمقادير مختلفة من درجات التحصيل في مادة الحاسوب. This study aimed to find out the correlation level between computer anxiety and the trend towards it, on the one hand and the achievement of university students in the computer science on the other. It also aimed to determine the relative importance of each of these variables in foretelling the achievement of the university students in computer science. To achieve the objective of the study, the researchers developed two measuring tools, one to measure the computer anxiety, and the second to measure the trend towards computer science. The study sample consisted of 300 male and female students. The results showed that the achievement in the computer science is significantly correlated with the computer and the trend towards it. The variance analysis of the stepwise multiple regression showed that the computer anxiety and the trend to it contributed to the interpretation of the variations in the scores of students of computer science. The trend towards computer had a significantly more contribution to the interpretation of the variations of students’ achievement scores in the computer science among all study samples. As for the gender, this variable had different values in the interpretations of students’ achievement in the computer science. (Published abstract)
