The goal of the research is to know the reasons for the weakness of professional motivation in the teachers and teachers of physics for the sixth grade scientific branch biomedical and applied from their point of view in the province of Qadisiyah city center Diwaniyah for the academic year (2018-2019) m. For the purpose of achieving this goal the researcher to build a tool to search through the on the literature and previous studies that dealt with professional motivation and the tool is a questionnaire consisting of (32) sub-paragraphs distributed on (4) main dimensions (which are due to the educational system, reasons for the community, reasons for the management of the school, reasons for the teacher himself) three alternatives (apply, v the results showed that the arithmetic mean of the four axes ranged from (22.1) to (94.2) and was (94.2), followed by the axis of the reasons for the management of the school and the middle of the account (32.2), followed by the axis of the reasons for the community with an average of (88.1), and finally (22.1). The study also came up with a set of recommendations and suggestions. (Published abstract)
