هدف هذا البحث إلى معرفة فاعلية أنموذج ابلتون في التحصيل والتفكير الاستدلالي لدى طالبات الصف الثاني المتوسط في مادة التاريخ، وتم اختيار التصميم التجريبي ذي الضبط الجزئي بمجموعتين متكافئتين، وتم اختيار عشوائيا عينة من (50) طالبة، بواقع (25) طالبة لكل مجموعة، وكوفئت احصائيا بين طالبات المجموعتين في عدد من المتغيرات كالتالي (الذكاء، العمر الزمني، التحصيل الدراسي للوالدين، التحصيل السابق لمادة التاريخ، التفكير الاستدلالي)، أما أداتي البحث فقد تم اعداد اختبار تحصيلي مكون من (40) فقرة من نوع الاختيار من متعدد ذي أربعة بدائل، واختبار للتفكير الاستدلالي مكون من (30) فقرة بعد التأكد من صدقهما وثباتهما. وأسفرت النتائج البحث عن تفوق المجموعة التجريبية في التحصيل والتفكير الاستدلالي. The present study aims to investigate the effect of the model of Appleton in the inductive attainment and reasoning thinking of the second intermediate students in the material of history, the researcher chose the experimental design of the partial control with two equal groups. The sample consists of (50) students, (25) students’ for each group. The criteria, by which the students’ levels were measured, were: intelligence, age, the academic degree of the parents, the previous attainment of history, reasoning thinking. The researcher prepares a test of (40) items of a multiple choice of about four substitutions the second tool depend on a test which, in turn, depend on the inductive thinking, this test consists of(30) items, and it was appropriate as it has been evaluated by a group of the experts. In the light of the results of the research, the researcher recommends that it is possible to use new methods in teaching history for the students of the second intermediate school as they have appositive effect on the student’s level in the inductive attainment and reasoning thinking.
