هدف البحث إلى تقويم الأداء التدريسي لمعلمي الدراسات الاجتماعية في المرحلة الأساسية العليا في ضوء معايير الجودة، ولتحقيق أغراض البحث قام الباحث بإعداد بطاقة ملاحظة من خمسة مجالات ويندرج تحتها (52) معيارا فرعيا لملاحظة المعلمين في ضوئها، تكونت عينة البحث من (30) معلما ومعلمة من معلمي الدراسات الاجتماعية في منطقة بني كنانة في الأردن للعام الدراسي 1435هـ/1436هـ، وقد توصل البحث إلى النتائج الآتية: جاء مجال مهنية المعلم بالمرتبة الأولى من حيث الأداء التدريسي لمعلمي الدراسات الاجتماعية في ضوء معايير الجودة في حين جاء مجال أساليب التقويم في المرتبة الخامسة والأخيرة، كما أظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في متوسطات أداء معلمي الدراسات الاجتماعية في متغيري المؤهل وسنوات الخبرة في حين كانت هناك فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تبعا لمتغير الجنس ولصالح المعلمات، وتم تقديم عدد من التوصيات والمقترحات في ضوء النتائج. This study aimed at evaluating the teaching performance of the social studies' teachers at the higher basic education stage in the light of quality assurance standards. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher developed an observation checklist including five categories under which there were 52 sub standards for observing the teachers' performance. The study sample included 30 male and female social studies teachers who work at Bani Kenana region in Jordan during the academic year 1435-1436H. the study results showed that the first rank was the teaching profession in terms of the social studies' teaching profession in the light of the quality assurance standards. In addition, the fifth and final rank was the category of the evaluation styles. The results showed that there were no significant statistical differences between the means of the teaching performances in terms of the variables of the certificate and years of experience. Moreover, there were statistically significant differences for the sake of female teachers in terms of the category of sex. A number of recommendations and suggestions were made according to the study results. (Published abstract)
