The research aims to extrapolate the effectiveness of an enrichment program using the strategy of web quest to develop the cognitive achievement of some bio-ethical issues of the students of the preparatory year, the scientific path of the University of Jeddah. To achieve the research objectives, the researcher used the descriptive approach and the experimental approach with the semi-experimental design. The researcher prepared the research tools: a questionnaire to identify the bio ethical issues necessary for the students in the secondary level and a test to measure the level of cognitive achievement for some bio-ethical issues for students in the preparatory year (scientific graduate of secondary school. An achievement test was applied to (75) students, and a measurement test for the cognitive concepts achievement for the selected bio- ethical issues to evaluate the effectiveness of the enriching program using the strategy of web-quest to develop the students of the experimental group sample. The researcher also designed an enriching program using the strategy of web quest to develop the achievement of cognitive concepts of some bio-ethical issues. The researcher chose the sample randomly from the classes her is teaching in the preparatory year in the subject of (concepts of health and physical fitness). One of the classes was selected with the total number of 55 students. The students were divided into two groups. The experimental group consisted of 27 students and the control group was of 28 students. The research reached several results, the most prominent of which were: low level of cognitive achievement for preparatory year students - the scientific track in the University of Jeddah for bio-ethical issues, and the effectiveness of the enriching program using the web quest strategy with statistical significance. The study also recommended a number of recommendations and suggestions in the light of the results it reached. (Published abstract)
