The cognitive style considered as basic and important style in the cognitive psychological science for its connection to the feelings and behaviors of individuals in different life situation they face. The cognitive styles (impulsive and reflective) are considered as base to distinguish among the individuals in their reaction to the live situation and on their accuracy. This research aim to knowing: 1) The cognitive styles (impulsive and reflective) for preparatory student. 2) Personal character for preparatory students. 3) Statistically significant differences cognitive styles (impulsive and reflective for preparatory student . 4) The correlative relations between cognitive style Personal character in order to achieve the objective of study , the researcher using to scale (AL –HASSONA 2009) and cognitive styles scale (impulsive and reflective ) (ALAyash 2006) the research applied on preparatory student at Al-Izdihar preparatory school for girl After analysis data statistically the research reach to the following finding :- 1) The students for preparatory school use reflective cognitive style more than impulsive . 2) They have a good Personal character 3) There is no difference between the student in the literal or Scientific branches in cognitive style. 4) There is appositive relation between cognitive style and personal character. In the light of those results number of suggestions and recommendation were given. (Published Abstract)
